I’m Milani, a Writer, Director, and Producer based in Austin, Texas. While these days find me working on more independent production, my past experience includes on-set production roles on projects of all sizes. Having gotten my start at PBS in 2015 as a Student Reporting Labs Fellow, I had the amazing privilege to dip my toes into the waters of media and haven’t looked back since–having worked with some of the best people in the industry across brands like HBO, Nodpod, and Apple.

In recent years, I’ve worked as an On-set Social Producer, Talent, Junior Creative Producer, and Production Assistant, with strong working skills in A/V Production and Marketing. The culmination of my passions has brought me to my current role as Head of Community at Your Local Book Club, where I continue to cultivate myself as an Experience Producer with a focus on connecting with creatives, organizations, and artists through intimate experiences. I also work as a Freelance Creative Consultant and Podcast Producer.
